Our Place
Exploring Tassie? Make a visit to Géographe top of your list.
Enjoying a slice of woodfired pizza on the deck, looking out across the bay at the picture-perfect postcard of the Peninsula; it’s hard to imagine that one lone ship navigated this rugged terrain back in 1802.
Our iconic restaurant, named in honour of the French Naval ship ‘Le Géographe’, overlooks the exact coastline avid adventurer Nicolas Baudin charted while onboard. His explorations placed this previously unknown coastline on the map and introduced it to the world…
Today, from the best viewpoint in the Bay, you can explore the finest tastes of Tassie on our menu. Families, friends, locals, modern-day explorers, and even the wildlife, all gather on the deck, or grab a table in our picnic area to share and enjoy fantastic food in this stunning place we call home.
OUR MENUS
Whether it’s a gourmet breakfast to start the day or a tasty pizza straight from our woodfired oven – our menu is a crowd pleaser.
